Green Schools Network Meeting

C3’s Green Schools Network is a group of like-minded public and private school teachers, administrators, support staff, and parent volunteers who meet around 6 times a school year. The primary focus is to support each others’ school-wide efforts to reduce GHG emissions with tangible tools and resources from the group and our Commercial Program Manager. We also support in-classroom activities (teacher or student led) in conjunction with our Residential Climate and Equity Program Manager.

The Charlottesville Racing Club and UVA Cycling Club are hosting a short-course bike race that will attract amateur, collegiate and professional cyclists from around the country for a multi-lap spectator-friendly event. There will also be a kids race and open-street bike parade and a festival environment. Proceeds benefit Charlottesville Community Bikes.
