This week at the Bread and Roses Community Kitchen, we made fritters!
This week we made Zucchini Parmesan Chips and Honey Roasted Peaches. Both dishes are easy to make and provide you with healthy alternatives. Some points to take away from these dishes is that you can add them as a side or create a whole dish. For the Zucchini Parmesan Chips, these go great with rice, on whole-wheat toast, or simply as is. Honey Roasted peaches go great with yogurt or cottage cheese, or you can eat with some crackers for a sweet and salty combo.
Some veggie alternatives you can use for the Zucchini Parm are yellow squash, eggplant, or even potatoes. I encourage you to take what you learn from this video and experiment with what you have. For example, you could try honey roasted apples, or eggplant mozzarella chips! Don't limit your scope while bringing dishes together, the opportunities are endless.
Please send us photos of your creations, recipe ideas, and any questions you have about this week's video. Thank you and see you next time!
