Resources

Welcome to our COVID-19 Resource page. We will be focusing on resources relating to our Action Teams. Due to the nature of the pandemic we will be updating and editing information as needed.

Do you have a resource to add? Please email us at move2healthequity@gmail.com

FREE COVID HOME TESTS

  • The Federal Government is providing free COVID test kits for households.

  • To receive your four (4) test kits fill out the form here.

  • Did you know test kits that you purchase at a pharmacy may be eligible for reimbursement through your healthcare insurance? That means you can get back the money you spent on the test kits. For more information reach out to your insurance provider and save the receipts of purchase.

COVID VACCINATION INFORMATION

  • Vaccines and booster shots are currently open to anyone above the age of 5 years old.

  • Please head to the Blue Ridge Health District website for information about vaccines in our area!

  • We are encouraging everyone to sign up for their newsletter or to visit their website for the latest information. We recognize not everyone has internet access or may not be tech savvy, so the hotline is open for individuals to call who are over 75+ that want to be on our list for vaccines or ask any COVID questions. Hotline # is 434-972-6261.
